ENWAY develops the software stack that enables autonomous operations of service vehicles. Our focus is on waste trucks, street sweepers and municipal waste management. We believe in teaming up autonomous vehicles and human labour to make jobs like street sweeping or trash collection safer, easier and more efficient. ENWAY partners with vehicle producers, private cleaning firms and municipal service providers.

Together with us

  • You will design and develop safety¬†critical control systems that improve the performance and safety of our platform in C¬†/ C++
  • You will develop simulations and deploy control and prediction algorithms on our products in the area of municipal waste management. This includes control and kinematic modelling of complex vehicles, robotic arms, robotic arms on moving vehicles, etc.
  • You will improve and deliver reliable software through continuous integration and code reviews

Requirements

  • University degree in information technology, robotics or a comparable degree
  • Extensive C++ programming and Linux experience
  • Experience with software engineering tools (e.g., Git, CMake, gdb, etc.)
  • First practical experiences with robotic arm control and motion planning, robot path planning, model predictive control, etc.
  • Knowledge of Frameworks and Libraries, such as ROS, Boost, embedded systems, etc. would be a definite plus
  • Great enthusiasm for robotics, software and a startup atmosphere
  • Able to work fast and independently, yet favoring teamwork
  • Proactive attitude, team spirit and great communication skills
  • Willing to relocate to Berlin
  • Fluency in English
